Zack Fox is a comedian, rapper, writer, and artist whose career has blended internet humor with creative output. He first gained recognition in 2013 on Twitter under the alias @bootymath. In the following years, he dropped the alias and expanded into music, joining the Awful Records Collective. He gained popularity in 2017 after illustrating the album sleeve of Thundercat’s Drunk, and acted and wrote for the horror film Kuso. In music, Fox broke through with the viral 2019 freestyle “Jesus Is the One (I Got Depression)”. He followed it up with the 2021 album Shut the F*** Up Talking to Me, further proving that his humor didn’t come at the expense of musicality.Outside music, Fox has built a strong presence in television and digital media. He plays Tariq on ABC’s Emmy-winning Abbott Elementary. He has also written for and appeared on shows like The Eric Andre Show, Bust Down, and PAUSE with Sam Jay. On Twitch, he hosted the experimental livestream RELEASED!, a mix of animation, performance art, and music journalism. In 2022, he released the EP Wood Tip, exploring R&B textures while still flexing his comedic instincts. Fox’s distinct voice and career—satirical and self-aware—has earned him a place as a multi-platform artist who brings authenticity and creativity to the table.
