The Drewth spreads to the University of Maryland... Join SEE for a night featuring Enya Umanzor and Drew Phillips of Emergency Intercom. This event will feature a 45-minute live podcast followed by a 15-minute moderated Q&A.
Comedians Enya Umanzor and Drew Phillips launched the Emergency Intercom Podcast in July 2021 and have since garnered millions of streams across YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcast. In each episode, Enya and Drew share hilarious slices of their lives, touching on anything from housing troubles and making friends to seasonal depression, with wild anecdotes from their experiences in LA. With tasteful comedic timing, the two are able to discuss even the most personal of subjects in a way that allows listeners to relate to and feel understood.
In addition to their comedic prowess, the duo has also made their mark on the world of high fashion, recently participating in campaigns with Acne Studios, Miu Miu, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Celine, and Balenciaga among others, and were most recently featured in Paper Magazine. Individually and together, Enya and Drew bring hilarity, impeccable taste, and unique outlooks on life that have captivated a loyal audience. They can also be seen starring in the Kyra TV show FIELD TRIP on YouTube which they co-wrote and produced alongside musician Josiah. The series has nearly two million views to date.
