Having just signed his record deal this summer, Mike Posner’s “A Matter of Time” mixtape took the country by storm with his hit singles "Drug Dealer Girl" and "Cooler Than Me." Having performed alongside the likes of Wale, Kid Cudi, and 50 Cent, Mike maintains the role of a superstar during the weekend, and returns to being a senior at Duke University during the weekdays. With his highly anticipated “One Foot out the Door” mixtape due Oct. 29th, and his studio album due later this Spring, Mikes future looks promising.

Stuff White People Like is a blog written by Christian Lander, which takes satirical aim at the interests of “white folks”. Created in 2008, Lander’s blog has become popular, with over 300,000 daily hits and over 40 million hits by the end by the end of September 2008. Although the blog has been seen as racist and offensive, it is not about the interests of all white people. Instead, Lander focuses on the stereotype of affluent anti-corporate North American “hipsters”, with a humorous intent. In July of 2008, Landers published his blog posts in a book, which remained on the New York Times Best Sellers list for months.
